SN-1 Abrasive is a revolutionary new-generation aluminum oxide abrasive developed by Yize. It's polycrystalline structure whose main body is Al2O3. In terms of SN-1 Abrasive has ultra-strong material removal capacity, and achieves best effect in heavy grinding. Compared with traditional aluminum oxide abrasives, SN-1 Abrasive have advantages of high abrasiveness ratio, good surface finish, and high grinding efficiency. Generally, mixed with white fused alumina(or other alumina abrasives) in certain proportion, SN-1 Abrasive can be made into grinding wheels according to different grinding requirements, to achieve the best combination of grinding effects and grinding wheel costs.
Yize Technology adopts a multiple-combination process for the surface treatment of abrasives to optimize the performance of abrasives at the highest level. First, white corundum abrasive with high quality is processed by alkaline treatment, soak in alkaline solution, then wash and dry. Then apply ceramic liquid on the surface of the abrasive, and undergo high-temperature sintering treatment.
Alkaline treatment uses alkali to have a certain corrosive ability on abrasives to increase the roughness of the abrasive surface and at the same time increase the capillary action on the surface of the abrasive particles, which is beneficial to the bonding effect of the abrasive and the binder, so that the abrasive particles can be coated. The clothing layer is not easy to fall off, and the effect of the coating layer is improved, which ultimately leads to the improvement of the grinding effect and durability of the grinding wheel.
The ceramic coating treatment makes the abrasive surface covered with a thin layer of ceramic material to facilitate the bonding between the abrasive and the binder, thereby improving the durability of the grinding wheel.
After high-temperature calcination, the first is that the fine cracks formed by the multiple impacts of the abrasive during the granulation process are sintered at high temperature, which increases the strength of the single particle due to the sintering of the abrasive during the manufacturing process. The second is to increase the capillary action of the abrasive, increase the hydrophilicity of the abrasive, and improve the adsorption of the abrasive particles to the binder, so that the abrasive particles and the binder can have a strong adhesion.
Finally, the abrasive is dry-cleaned to make the surface of the abrasive more clean. After the ceramic treatment, the abrasive has a neutral pH, and the bond strength between the abrasive and the resin bond is higher.
